GESTATING PARENT: New York Lawmakers Pass Bill Replacing “Mother” and “Father” With Gender-Neutral Terms
This sounds funny but it is as real as real...unfortunately.
New York lawmakers have passed a bill that would replace terms like “mother” and “father” with gender-neutral alternatives such as “gestating parent” and “non-gestating parent” in parts of state law.
Supporters say the measure promotes inclusivity, while critics argue it unnecessarily removes traditional parental language.
*Do you know what this is? Even more confusion! Why don't we keep things simple? And simple is how God created us and referenced us - male and female, father and mother, girl and boy. There is no middle ground, biko.
You walk into an airport or you want to fill out a form online and a long list of genders will be staring you in the face. You even have the option to fill "I prefer not to say".
Indeed, Ecclesiastes 7:29 (GNB) is absolutely true - "God made us plain and simple, but we have made ourselves very complicated."
This whole thing is CHAOTIC!!
