Why would a mother do this to her child?!

A woman's relationship ended and she thought the ultimate payback is to smother her daughter, Macey, to death just to get to her dad. 

She bombarded the man with angry messages on his phone until later on she sent him this message along with the picture of their daughter, 'Sorry, just thought you deserved one last picture and memory of her'.

After murdering her daughter, she tried taking her own life but the police got there on time and found her with superficial knife wounds and a note that read: 'I do not want to leave her behind but I can't go on either. There is nothing for me or Macey.'

*To this woman, her relationship was her god and she killed an innocent child, her own child, because of it. What height of anger or wickedness or coldness of the heart will make a mother deliberately smother her child to death?

What have you idolized in your life? When we learn to make God the center of our world, we will see that when everything falls apart, God-how we find strength to move on and keep living.
