Unbelievable! GloRilla Wins Gospel Award — But Is She Even Saved?

Meet GloRilla.

The so-called gospel singer that won the BET Award for Best Gospel/Inspirational Song at the 2025 BET Awards for her song "Rain Down On Me" featuring Kirk Franklin.




So I had to pull some of her pictures from her Instagram page in order to send home my point.

Jesus said in Matt 7:16, "By their fruits you shall know them." Our fruits is the physical evidence of our inward transformation. A good tree can't bear bad fruit neither can a bad tree bear good fruit (Matt 7:17).

And looking at the person of GloRilla, it is clear she is obviously not born-again.

When you say Gospel songs, you know that these are songs that glorifies God. But if we would look at what is happening, even Gospel songs have been reduced to entertainment. 

Yes, they have lyrics that 'seem' to give God glory but clearly the person who singing this song is still very far from Him. So how does it work?

Am I being judgemental?

No. I am just sad that what white is called black and black called white.

Isaiah 5:20 says, "What sorrow for those who say that evil is good and good is evil, that dark is light and light is dark, that bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter."



GloRilla doesn't represent Christ. She doesn't represent the body of Christ. This is not who we are.

God has called us to holiness and no matter how much the world would want to water down God's truth, God's standards can not and will never change.

When are carrying the Spirit of Jesus, there just certain things you cannot do and dressing like GloRilla is one of them.

    God calls His people to holiness, not to the corruption of the flesh. The world may disguise sin as freedom, but true liberty is found only in surrender to His perfect will.
