Weddings ought to be a sacred event. Yeah, that was the original plan. Because it is the celebration of two different people coming together as one under the umbrella of marriage to start a family. And like we know, God instituted marriage.
But this new trend of games ...hmmm
Sometime back, a groom simulated a sex act, not with his wife, but a female guest at his wedding right in front of his guests.
In another wedding, the bride was simulating a sex act on her hubby. The half-naked groom stands on top of a table with some kind of toy between his legs before his wife kneels down to put her mouth round the toy.
And twice the groom spurted a creamy fluid right in front of the audience. Were children not part of this audience? Sure enough. A young boy could be seen in the background looking on.
In a more recent story, a couple literally were coerced to strip naked and have sex right in front of a cheering audience.
In another wedding clip , shows men and women paying to grope the bride's breast, apparently so that she and her new husband can pay for their post-wedding trip.
An older game of retrieving the garter also has sexual connotations.
To mention but a few.
The truth is that the world has lost every sense of shame. With these things playing out in front of our children everyday, they only succeed in poisoning and damaging their young minds. What kind of society are we giving birth to?
It's so sad that we have lost every respect for God. Nothing is sacred anymore. This is a rebellious generation and God's Word is trodden under foot.
