  You can call this a rant because I am saddened by what is happening in the churches especially when it comes to money issues. It's now hard to differentiate who some pastors are serving: God or Mammon? “I rather take my money and give it to orphanages and the poor rather than give it to the church! These people are thieves!” You know what? I don’t blame those who say this. These people have lost faith in the Church. When they hear Church, what they hear is exploitation. When they see Church, what they see are thieves. I sat thinking to myself the other day: The money people give in tithes and offering does not belong to the pastor, it belongs to God and should solely be used, not for the pastor’s personal needs, but for God’s work . Really, how crazier can the world get? May be you can tell me after reading this story.  A minute and a half video posted online this week shows tourists in swim suits dancing, drinking and playing sex games on the deck of a boat as a huge crowd looked on.  There was endless supply of booze (alcohol) and these people are teenagers who have been lured with the promise of ‘guaranteed sex’ on board the Magaluf boat party. Girls clad in bikinis were seen playing a game involving using sun screen to sexually rub against each other. Some other girls dance topless as they appear to be judged by someone whose voice can be heard over the microphone. I got to hear of this trend of dancing just about two days ago when someone wrote something about it being demonic and signifying something like Demonstrating Anti-Christ Bow which is a bow to the devil.  So I was in the youth church this Sunday and I saw the same dance steps. From what I gather, this new dance move have been around for quite sometime (I guess maybe last year) and originates from the American Hip Hop community in Atlanta. Dabbing is said to be when the dancer raises their hand to their face, then drops their face into the elbow of that arm while lifting up the other arm in the air. The Mexicans call her La Santa Muerta meaning 'Sacred Death' or 'Holy Death'.  Saint Death is a skeletal figure that looks like the grim reaper holding a scythe and a globe like and dressed like the typical virgin Mary statue of the Catholic church. This what a team of UK Scientists want to create. They are pushing  to develop a process for genetically modified babies, using DNA from 4 parents. Many scientists and ethicists have condemned the process because it is risky and involves destruction of hundreds of embryos. Last year,UK became the first country to legalize creation of 3 or 4-parent babies. * Man trying to play God.

Mel Gibson is said to be working on a sequel to The Passion of the Christ. The   original film ended with Jesus walking out of the tomb but didn't go on to show what happened after resurrection. According to Foxnews.com, the sequel will focus on the resurrection and the events that occurred after Jesus was raised from the dead. The Passion of the Christ was released in 2004 and starred Jim Caviezel as Jesus Christ. It made $612 million world wide.

Wow. The Spirit of God is indeed one. Just finished my post on horoscopes and I happened upon Billy Graham's thoughts on the use of horoscopes.  For those lured by things that claim to predict the future, Billy Graham advised that Christians should look to God instead of horoscopes for guidance. God created the stars and the universe, believers in Christ should not use these cosmic entities for guidance eg referencing horoscopes, sorcery, omens or magic. God intended the stars and the universe to be a witness to His power and glory, not as a means to guide us or foretell the future. Another reason God forbids it is because they are dangerous, deceptive and unreliable. So what is the summary of his message? Look only to God for guidance.

Canada’s supreme court has declared that most sex acts between people and animals are legal, as long as there is no penetration involved.  That means that animal abusers have been given license to use animals for their sexual gratification. As long as penetration is not involved, it isn’t considered as bestiality. The only Justice who opposed the move in the 7-1 ruling said that penetration should not be considered essential when defining bestiality.
