I started this year by taking a bold and deeply personal step—self-publishing my books on Amazon Kindle. The result is The Dark Cloud Series (Parts 1, 2, and 3), a collection of novels that carry a message very close to my heart.
This is not just a story.
It is an invitation into conversations many people avoid—but desperately need.

What The Dark Cloud Is About
The Dark Cloud is a faith-rooted, emotionally rich fiction series that explores trauma, betrayal, silence, healing, and spiritual awakening.
At the center of the story is Adaora, a woman whose life appears normal on the outside, yet beneath the surface lies a cloud of unresolved pain, buried secrets, and wounds that were never given permission to heal.
Through her journey, the series confronts difficult but familiar realities:
Childhood trauma and its long-term effects
Emotional neglect and betrayal
The silent struggles many women carry
The tension between faith and pain
The slow, courageous journey toward healing and redemption
This story is told through a reflective, intergenerational lens—one that reminds us that pain does not exist in isolation, and healing is often a process passed from one generation to another.
Why I Wrote This Series
I wrote The Dark Cloud for:
The woman who learned how to survive, but never learned how to heal
The believer who loves God but still carries deep emotional wounds
The reader who needs language for pain they have never been able to explain
Anyone who has ever felt unseen, unheard, or misunderstood
So often, we are told to “move on,” “pray more,” or “be strong,” without being given space to process the very real impact of trauma. This series creates that space—gently, honestly, and with hope.
What Makes This Series Different
Unlike many stories that rush to resolution, The Dark Cloud respects the process of healing. It acknowledges that:
Faith does not erase pain—but it can guide healing
Healing is not instant, neat, or linear
Redemption often begins with truth and courage
Each part of the series builds intentionally:
Part 1 introduces the pain and the hidden wounds
Part 2 deepens the conflict and emotional reckoning
Part 3 journeys toward healing, restoration, and renewed purpose
