Even their women are not left behind as they swap real life intimacy for a fantasy. A Tokyo resident, Saito, downloaded a romance gaming app into her phone to fill the void after her ex-lover left.
"I felt lonely," says Saito, now 31. "Japanese men are shy and not good at flattering women. But girls want to hear 'I love you'."

These people desire to be loved but real love goes beyond sex. That void they long to fill will take only God to fill it. Virtual animes etc can only offer a temporary, superficial satisfaction.
When we truly experience God's love, we will stop depending on humans or anything else to make us happy. Our happiness will come from deep deep inside. That's what is called JOY. The happiness that does not depend on what you have or do not have but rather dependent on God's presence in your life.
Also, a time will come in future and it's already here, when humans will fall in love with and get married to robots or animes or things that don't really exist. They will stop desiring their fellow humans sexually but rather prefer to mate with non-living robots.
It's called perversion and does not serve God's purpose of 'go into the world, increase and multiply'.
God created man for woman and woman for man so that they complement each other, get married, have children and birthing new generations. That is God's will and plan. Anything outside this is demonic and sheer rebellion.
