Bongani Maseko of the Breath of Christ Ministries, in Daveyton, South Africa calls himself a prophet and the like the false prophet he is has given his congregants motor oil to drink so that they can be saved, healed and delivered.
He declared it was perfectly safe to drink after he prayed over it.
He said (as usual) that it is a demonstration of the power of God quoting that "Jesus spat on the ground and made mud.
He took that mud and smeared it on the eyes of a blind man and, instantly, that blindness was healed" and Mark 16 v 17-18: ‘in My name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues. They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.'”
*Do you know one thing these pastors demonstrating the power of God have in common? Their age! They are all young and definitely desperate to make money so they employ gimmicks or tricks to keep people captivated.
They twist God's Word for their own gain and people buy it.
I pity those who lie and deceive people in God's Name. It is a terrible thing to take the Name of God in vain.
One reason why so many so called Christians are being misled by heretic teachings is because they have refused to know God's Word for themselves.
The Berean Christians should be an example to us. It doesn't matter who your pastor is, just go back home, pick up your Bible and study, study, study. Feed your spirit man and be empowered. Develop a personal relationship with Jesus so you stop being swayed by every wind of strange doctrine.
