A six-day course entitled 'exorcism and prayer of liberation' happened at the Vatican. More than 250 people from 50 countries arrived in Rome on Monday to attend a week-long course “Exorcism and Prayer of Liberation” at the Catholic university, Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum, in Rome. It was revealed that the number of exorcisms in Italy has tripled recently, with experts predicting that around 500,000 requests are made a year.
