Everyday, I see things that challenge my faith and the faith of this young Dapchi girl, Liya, who is one of the girls kidnapped by Boko Haram last month, has challenged me. To think that in the face of death, she still stood her ground is amazing. Her father's faith during this trying times is also amazing. His words, "Boko Haram insurgents decided not to release my daughter because she refused to denounce Christ. I am happy for that, even though as a father I wish she had returned home as the rest. But God is in control." So far celebrities have been speaking up for her, praying for her safe return. Churches are not left out either. I believe a prayer chain has been created for Liya, one of which will be holding tonight by 12am. Please take your time each day to pray for Liya till she returns.
