This woman's mother died and she intends to 'eat' her this Christmas by  scattering her ashes on the turkey. And for dessert she’ll enjoy Christmas Pud...with a dusting of her mum’s last remains too. Lots of people came around to celebrate a christmas demon called Krampus, said to be the evil version of Santa Claus who goes about punishing bad children. Sad. A man who has dedicated his life in suicide prevention has taken his own life. It came after 3 months battle with depression. The late pastor, Bill Lenz was sent on sabbatical after he revealed to elders and other ministry leaders that he had begun experiencing sudden panic attacks. Researchers have found two gene variants  that are more common in gay men, adding to the belief that sexual orientation is at least partly determined by genetics. Scientists at Illinois’ North Shore University compared DNA sequences from 1,077 gay and 1,231 heterosexual men, scanning their genomes for single-letter differences. One gene was found on chromosome 14 and is mainly active in producing and maintaining thyroid.  Interestingly, Grave’s Disease, a condition which causes the thyroid to be overactive, is more common in gay men. A church of England, All Saints Church London, threw a double birthday celebration for Jesus and Mohammed. In a promotional flier, the church said the service was "Marking the birthday of Prophet Muhammad and looking forward to the birthday of Jesus". The hour-long service included time for Islamic prayer and was followed by the cutting of a birthday cake. A Christian blogger ,Archbishop Cranmer, have castigated the church for their lack of reverence for Jesus. A rainbow appeared in Taiwan for nine incredible hours leaving two scientists who discovered it shocked because rainbows typically last much less than an hour.  The rainbow started at 6:57 a.m. and lasted until 3:55 PM, or 8 hours and 58 minutes beating the previous record set in Wetherby in Yorkshire, United Kingdom on March 14, 1994, which was recorded as lasting from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. or six hours. Three-year-old children and other youngsters in U.K. schools and nurseries are being encouraged through books to question their gender.  One of such books is 'Are You a Boy or Are You a Girl?' written by a transgender activist. An online description for the book says that it "includes all forms of gender expression" and that it "allows parents and children to begin to break down the barriers of gender and to talk about what different stereotypes and roles mean to them." The book includes the character Thomas, a male teddy bear, who tells his friend Errol: "I need to be myself, Errol. In my heart, I've always known that I am a girl teddy, not a boy teddy. I wish my name was Tilly, not Thomas."
