Update on pastor Saeed's marriage

According to Naghmeh Abedini, the estranged wife of pastor Saeed Abedini,  the two reportedly attempted to undergo counseling for their strained marriage, but Saeed was unwilling to cooperate.  Now she says the future of their relationship "doesn't look promising." Naghmeh filed for legal separation shortly after her husband landed in the states after his release via prison exchange, exposing that her husband had a history of domestic violence and pornography. Pastor Saeed had since denied the allegations. * Don't know what's happening with this family but I pray God heals their home especially for the sake of the children and the faith they profess.

The Anti-christ, who is he?

From poll, here are some pastors opinion: a) A figure who will arise sometime in the future. b) Just a personification of evil. c) A figure who already arose sometime in the past. d) Not sure There are antichrists and there is 'the' Antichrist. And from my Bible, the Antichrist is not a fictitious figure but a real person who will emerge in the end time and seem to have answers to the world's problems.  With all the chaos in the world and as the world is the quest for world peace, he will present himself as someone whom the world can trust. See Dan 9:27 , Matt 24: 15-19 , 2 Thess 2:3-4 , Rev 13:5-8   Anyone who is against Jesus is an antichrist.   1 John 2:18 reads, "Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist  is coming, even now many Antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour."    * We are in the last hour.

'Paranormal entertainment is not as harmless as it seems' Theologian says

Pop culture has a growing fascination with the occult. From zombies and vampires, to Hogwarts and horoscopes, and even witches and Ouija boards — the mystical, unknown and undead seem to dominate TV and movie screens. In his book  Unanswered, Apologist and New Testament scholar Jeremiah Johnston discusses paranormal entertainment, conjuring the dead, and "ordained" mediums. Johnston cautions Christians to find a healthy balance when it comes to their consumption of paranormal content. The theologian warned, "Anything that takes away from your love for God, anything that detracts you from all the joys that we have in Jesus Christ — you should be very careful about." All paranormal entertainment isn't as harmless as it may seem. To Christians who are curious about the hereafter and dabble on the dark side using games to contact spirits, Johnston issued a stern warning. "The paranormal is a slippery slope, and it always s...

Man shares how self-sex killed his sex life (Intimacy impotence)

‘This has been my reality for as long as I can remember. I was wondering if anyone else does have the same problem. My masturbation addiction has progressed since the age of 10, I am now 23. Without going into all the details of my life, by the time I hit my 20′s my addiction had completely taken over all aspects of my being , taking me away from enjoying almost everything else. This can also be said for my love life.  It got to the stage where I’d quickly become bored sexually with new partners. Even for women that I was in love with, when it came to sex, I ended up choosing porn, fantasy and masturbation over them. I’m single at the moment as you’d probably expect, stuck in a position where my addiction has resulted in me conditioning myself to only get some form of sexual gratification from fantasy and masturbation , despite how empty and unfulfilling it really is .. . continue reading   * I can't stop talking about sex because I know how much damage i...

Why do people do this...?

Does it make any sense really w hy someone should put up a meme and cajole people into liking it, sharing it or saying 'Amen' to it? You read things like 'share this with 10 people if you love Jesus,' as if my not sharing it shows I don't love Him or  '7 years of bad luck if you don't like and type AMEN' Smh. People should stop doing this. It's wrong. Why use fear to manipulate people to share an article or a meme? If I read an article and I love it, I share it. Tshikena ! And that's how the cookie crumbles.

Ronke and the escalating cases of domestic violence: Is marriage a sham?

Ronke Shonde. That's the name of the beautiful woman recently murdered by her husband, Lekan. It has become the most popular case of domestic violence lately, inspiring more and more victims of domestic violence to come out and share their story. Ronke and hubby, Lanre And these domestic violence stories are getting some people scared of ever committing to marriage. A popular Nigerian actress,  Halima Abubakar, wrote on her social media page: I DON'T WANT TO EVER GET MARRIED. THOSE IN IT ARE MISERABLE. FORGET THE SMILING. But why wouldn't she think so, when there tend to be more stories of bad marriages (see Tiwa Savage, Toke Makinwa etc) than good ones.    But despite the escalating statistics, there are still very beautiful marriages out there but you hardly have media carry such stories. Even when they do, it doesn't make as much buzz as the negative one s. Bad news travel faster and more widely than good news. Now,this ish will make people begin...

Pastor Sarah Omakwu: "Married couples should have one bank account,"

I know some couples will find this a hard one to swallow...*wink* Yesterday, during the Sunday service as she spoke on the topic 'Love indeed is the greatest', Sarah Omakwu, the senior pastor of Family Worship Centre Wuye Abuja said,  "Couples, until you are one in your money, you are not truly one." Pastor Sarah Omakwu She went on to expatiate that it's not enough that married couples should wear uniform and come to church, that they should also have one bank account and eat out of that one account. Sounds like a lot, right? But I believe she is trying to rule out the 'his money-her money' mentality that some couples have where they see the money they make individually as their own personal property which their spouse have no right to.  Pastor Sarah wants couples to see the money they each make as belonging to their spouse also, thus pooling it together in a singular account to which they both have full and unrestricted access to.  In this...

Do you see the similarity between the goddess Osun and Beyonce in Lemonade?

I've talked a whole lot on Beyonce, abi? This should be the third article in such a short time. Well, can't help it especially when there is truth to be told.  So, use your eagle eye and check out these pictures and tell me what you see.  This is no coincidence. Read what yahoo.com reported. I will write it just the way they wrote it. 'During the film, Beyoncé was actually depicting an African goddess named Oshun, the goddess of beauty, love and sweet water (lemonade, anyone?) "Y'all think Beyoncé was just breaking windows, twerking and playing in water. No, she was portraying Oshun, a Yoruba Orisha," Facebook user Tasha Robinson wrote in a post Sunday. "Sensual, sexual, beautiful Goddess [and] deity who is a healer, gives life, growth, luxury, change and prosperity. That was the message of  Lemonade.  Love, change and prosperity."  The Yoruba people, an African ethnic group that occupies southwestern Nigeria and Benin, believe i...

Adele worships Beyonce and calls her Jesus. Let's take a closer look...

The things we hear everyday eh! On Instagram, reacting to Beyonce's latest album Lemonade, Adele wrote, "I'm not late on this I've just been speechless. Beyonce is the most inspiring person I've ever had the pleasure of worshiping . Her talent, beauty, grace and work ethic are all in a league of their own. I appreciate you so much! Thank god for Beyoncé X." During her concert in Denmark, she said: "How is it even possible that she only ever gets better? How is that possible? She is Jesus [expletive] Christ, Jesus [expletive] Christ. Beyoncé is the sickest artist around in the whole entire world; it's unbelievable. I've been listening to her for 17 years, and she's still making music that blows my mind." Like seriously?! First, worship is a very strong word. It means  reverent love and devotion accorded a deity, an idol, or a sacred object. So typically, Adele sees Beyonce as a god and it makes me wonder how Beyo...

Can someone answer this question, "Why do men blame God when things go wrong?"

When I read this, my heart literally screamed, 'Everything I need to know is in the Bible!' Look at this Bible quote below: By the foolish decisions we make, man becomes the architect of his own problem. God, in His Word, has shown us the right path yet we reject it and choose the death path.  Don't you think there will be consequences? Should God be blamed for it when He had told us the truth from the beginning?

Victim of rape: Joyce Meyer's father raped her 200 times and sexually assaulted other girls too

Rape is a terribly traumatic experience but the story of Joyce Meyer gives hope to victims of this abuse.    In an interview posted on her website recently, Meyer admitted that some of the things her father did were too crude to publicly talk about, but said she is sharing her testimony in order to inspire others and give them hope that recovery and healing through God is possible. Living in a very 'controlled atmosphere', her father forced her to pretend she was someone she wasn't, as he would give her pornography to look at, and ask her how it makes her feel. Meyer revealed her father raped other girls as well.   "Literally, what he did was rape me, every week, at least once a week, until the time I was 18. My father, who I was supposed to be able to trust, who was supposed to keep me safe, raped me a minimum of 200 times," she said Before her father died, Joyce forgave him, though it was difficult. Today she has four grown childre...

Was Beyonce's Lemonade really about her husband cheating on her?

Someone doesn't think so. According to the Vigilant Citizen, Beyonce's Lemonade represents something 'heavily occult, spiritual, and ritualistic, and it alludes to metaphysical concepts that gives the story a deeper meaning.' VC writes: 'On Tidal, the album is described as “every woman’s journey of self-knowledge and healing” and the overall the theme is said to be “the empowerment of black women referencing both marital relationships and the historical trauma from slavery.”  Though throughout the video, Beyoncé appears to be speaking to an unfaithful husband, various clues indicate this unfaithful husband is not Jay-Z or her father; instead, it is Beyoncé’s true father and husband, the occult elite’s music industry.  After giving her life and soul to be part of this industry, Beyoncé is now married to it – for better or for worse. But the industry is not faithful to her and treats h...

How to identify a fake prophet/pastor

A woman attended a church and later met up with the pastor who told her the story of her life, the past, the present and the future. It was hard not to believe him. Finally he told her the solution to her problems was deliverance through sex. And yes, she fell for it!  Many, like this woman, have fallen victims to these men who would even dare to use God's Name for personal gain. Jesus gave us a clue on how to spot fake pastors: "By their fruits you shall know them." Here are some of their qualities: 1. They are controlling, manipulating and brainwashing :  They want to control every aspect of your life and so they twist the Word of God, using it as tool to brainwash you into doing their bid. These people don't want you to grow spiritually cos they want you running to them each time you are in need. 2. They don't preach the wholesome doctrine of Jesus :      What they dish out are pseudo truths and if you don't know the Scriptures, you will easil...
