Open hostility against Christianity as Christian Students are rejected, failed and expelled for their faith in Jesus

Public colleges and universities are taking the gloves off when it comes to Christian students on their campuses. Gone are the days of surreptitious slights against Christians; now it is open season on faith. Blatant, in-your-face anti-Christian discrimination is the new norm. Christians students now face their applications being rejected because they let it slip out that they are a person of faith, receiving failing grades for daring to allow their religious beliefs to outweigh the omniscience of the educational elites, or being outright expelled for having the audacity to live in accordance with their faith. The rise of anti-Christian discrimination on public university campuses is astounding in its breadth and shocking in its shamelessness. One student, Brandon, was denied admission because when asked in an admissions interview what was the most important thing in his life, he replied simply, "My God." In rejecting his application, Radiation Therapy Program Director ...

All in the name of homosexuality, see what happened to this Student

This one happened closer home. In South Africa. It’s so we know that the persecution and gay acceptance is fast spreading. Even US vows to pressure Nigeria into legalizing homosexuality. I hope they don’t intend to blackmail us into giving in…Now to the story: A Christian student, Zizipho Pae ,at a South Africa university has been removed from her position as Student Representative Council (SRC) president after expressing her opposition to gay marriage on a personal Facebook page. She was responding to the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision on same-sex marriage when she wrote on Facebook, "We are institutionalizing and normalizing sin! May God have mercy on us." Following her post on Facebook, Pae was removed from her position, as the SRC said it supported the “rights of minorities and specifically the gay community.” Pae also endured threats and harassment from LGBT advocates. The student’s shared office was vandalized with signs that read “get out of here” and script...

Ahem! About your marriage wish list...

At a time we fantasized about ‘him’, our knight in shining armor, coming to sweep us off our feet. We imagined what he would look like: Tall? Fair? Dark? Handsome? Average height? We thought, “ Would he be an entrepreneur, an architect, a doctor, a lawyer? (You know we love to cook up our dreams real big. Nobody ever dreams of marrying a bricklayer! It’s true so please pardon me…lol). We wonder where he is: In Nigeria or abroad? Your heart gets excited as you dream of this guy who will dote on you, bring you breakfast in bed, spoil you silly with gifts, take you on a trip around the world and treat you like a queen. You even take a step further by drawing up your marriage wish list; a list of all the things you desire in your man : He must be educated, rich, based abroad, must be of same ethnicity with you bla bla bla.. Finally, the suitors come pouring in, in torrents or in trickles. Armed with your wish list in your head, you find it difficult to make your pick cos none fits into...

OMG! It's now a crime to preach to anyone in Nepal

Newly proposed Nepalese legislation states, "No one shall behave, act or undertake activities that breach public order or break public peace or peace in the community; and no one shall attempt to change or convert someone from one religion to another, or disturb/jeopardise the religion of others, and such acts/activities shall be punishable by law." Anti-conversion laws in Nepal could threaten the religious freedom of citizens, according to Christian Solidarity Worldwide (CSW). CSW says the legislation "fails to allow for choosing and changing one's faith to be seen as a positive individual choice or as a matter of individual rights.” This means Nepalese civilians could be punished by law for speaking about their faith, or “attempted conversion” CSW chief executive Mervyn Thomas said, "The freedom to choose and change one's faith is a fundamental right which must be upheld as an essential part of any constitution which adheres to international human r...

You don't know what you will be missing if you don't read this:The magic of Shea butter!

Didn't know that Shea butter was this magical until I read it up. Wow! God has given us everything in nature. Shea butter is used both in medicinal and cosmetic purposes. It is said that the Egyptian Queen Nefertiti, who was magnificently beautiful, owed her legendary beauty to the use of Shea butter. Shea butter is a skin super food that is extracted from the nuts of Shea tree which grows in the savannah of West Africa. It could be refined or unrefined. It is said that the unrefined Shea butter is the best because unlike the refined one (which is usually white in color and odorless), it still retains it's healing and therapeutic power. The unrefined Shea butter gives off a nutty aroma and is yellowish in color. Shea butter is deeply moisturizing, removes wrinkles, scars and wards off stretchmarks (pregnant women take note). It heals eczema, psoriasis, rash, insect bites, stings, skin cracks, minor cuts and burns and also protects the skin from UV radiation (a good sunscreen,...

Wickedness! “We get heart, lung, liver…”, says Abortionist

An Abortionist , Deborah Nucatola, was shown in an undercover video discussing how the billion dollar organization harvests and sells the intact body parts of aborted babies ( heart, lung, liver, limbs and brain) to fetal tissue wholesalers. Once received by fetal tissue wholesalers, the body parts are shipped to universities, pharmaceutical companies, and government agencies. "I'm going to basically crush below, "I'm not gonna crush above, and I am gonna see if I can get it all intact." She adds that "specimen" parts generally draw between $30 to $100 on the market. And suggests that the abortion procedure can be tailored to secure specific body...

It may not be automatic but with time, your ideologies and perceptions change. How safe is it to ex...

Ladies: Looking to put a ring on it?

Ladies, desperation can make us do things because of the pressure of family, friends and age. Choosing the man to spend your life time with requires patience. So , if you are looking to put a ring on it, consider these don'ts: Tip 1: Don't Lead Him On! It doesn't make sense when a lady meets a guy and allows him spend both time and money on her, when she isn't even interested in him. Ladies love attention, I know. I personally love it. But we also have an ability to sense when a guy may be interested for something more permanent. He may even have told you severally about how he feels about you, so you are definitely in the know. Here's what is: don't deceive him if you don't like him just because you are enjoying the attention he's giving you.Don't lead him on. Stop wasting his money and time. Come out with it. Tell him you aren't interested.(You can just be friends if you want to). It's the right and respectable thing to do. Will you...

Ladies: do this before the 'marriage talks' with him...

Are you ready for a permanent relationship? Are you thinking of settling down and getting married? Here are three quick tips to consider while you are it. Tip 1: Define the relationship Don't be carried away just yet. When a guy begins to shower you with attention and gifts, keep sober and refuse to believe he may be interested. If for a lingering period of time he doesn't still come forth with his intentions, please politely ask him what he wants from you. Let your relationship be defined. Is he interested in you? Does he hope that one day he could put a ring on your finger? Or does he just want a fling or be friends? Too forward, you think? No. I call it being wise in order that you don't allow your heart be swept away by a man's charm only for him to 'disappoint' you. When my husband and I started out, I simply didn't want to read meaning into his gestures just yet. Until he came out directly with his intention, only then did I open up my heart to ...

Something you need to remember...

The preacher stood in a busy street in Ojuelegba and spat words at the passers by who were nearly cringing at his message: “Repent now or you will go to hell! The fire of God will consume you if you are living in sin! Jesus is coming soon! Repent or you will burn in hell! Come and give your life to Christ!” His face was contorted in anger as he rained fire, brimstone and condemnation on the people moving all around him. Nobody came close. They literally grimaced at his words and shrank from him. He was scaring them off with his message. Now I ask: Is anything wrong with this zealous preacher’s message? Yes there is and I will tell you why. The message of the cross is a message borne out of love, not anger, hate and condemnation. It is a message given in hope and assurance of God’s mercy and grace. It isn’t meant to put fear into people’s hearts but rather to draw them close in order that their eyes might be open to the truth. But when we preach and spew condemnation instead of...

Just a second after death. Think about this...

She stormed out of the church Her face flushed with anger What the pastor said Was so irritating...so convicting Yet so true! But she didn't want to accept it So she sped off in her SUV She had it all The hottest guys The best cars The biggest and broadest connections Didn't she just receive an i.v 2 days ago To dine with Mr President this weekend? She was made! She was expensive! What would this Jesus offer her That she already doesn't have...? Suddenly, there was a head-on collision Light flashed before her eyes In a blink she was lying In the pool of her own blood Her million naira dress in shreds Her 250 thousand naira worth of Brazilian hair Ripped from her skull The world for a moment seemed hazy In agony she gasped Her breathing heavier Her pants quicker She knew with certain fear Her end has come Life was ebbing away from her fast! Darkness enveloped her With a final sigh, her spirit eluded her Until she saw herself Standing besi...

We are planning to get married. Can we have sex?

Wow. I read the story of a young lady on Christianity Today and I felt I should share so that someone else out there will learn. Below is her story: 'I started dating John* in high school. It was the first serious relationship either of us had ever had, and we were absolutely crazy about one another. We decided pretty early on that we were made for each other, and everyone in our small town agreed. They all thought we'd end up getting married and living happily ever after. I thought so too. John and I had our lives planned out. After high school we'd go to the same college. Then as soon as we graduated, we'd get married. We knew what kind of house we'd live in and the cars we'd drive. We even decided how many kids we'd have and what we'd name them. Both of us were convinced that nothing could ever come between us. That's how we justified our physical relationship. When we started having sex, we figured it was okay since we knew we would marry ea...

How do you deal with abuse?

After hearing how Joyce Meyer was abused by her father, it’s natural to want to know how she handled it. How does one deal with abuse? So, I got these tips from Joyce Meyer herself and I hope it helps. Abuse means misused, used improperly, used up, wasted, to use in such a way as to cause harm or damage or to be treated cruelly. It could be sexual, abuse, emotional, physical, verbal or mental abuse and all are damaging. Any time we are misused or used for any purpose other than which God intended us is damaging. Joyce’s story serves as an inspiration to many who may have been hurt and abused in the past. Though she had prayed to God severally to get her out of her predicament, God didn’t but rather gave her strength to go through it. Joyce said she was grateful for what she passed through because it made her a better person than she would ever have been if she had not gone through it. It’s simply to say that if you had gone through abuse in the past or you are going through it...

In search of eternal Youth, the vampire face-lift

Over the years, men have searched for the secret of eternal youth. Elizabeth Bathory, born 1560, was popularly known as the 'blood countess' because she was rumored to bathe in the blood of virgins as a component of her beauty regimen. In her quest for eternal youth, she was said to have killed about 650 girls between 1585 and 1610. Elizabeth had a weird childhood with weird people in her family. Her childhood nurse was said to practice black magic that depended on the sacrifice of children for their bone and blood. At 15, she got married and was left most times in the company of a witchcraft practicing aunt,an alchemist uncle and a devil worshiper, and her brother who was a reputed pedophile. With the likes of Kim Kardashian trying to look young and stay young, the vampire face -lift, a procedure which creates a plumper skin by injecting person's own blood into lines and wrinkles, has been introduced. It involves drawing blood from the arm and spinning it in a centrifug...

Part 2: She was sexually, mentally and emotionally abused by her father...Graphic details inside

Before you continue, please be sure to read the part one. In school , Joyce pretended to have a normal life but she felt lonely all the time and never considered herself to fit in. She was not allowed after school life, never participated in anything because her father would think she was out doing something with a boy. *Guilt always breeds suspicion* She had no friends, she wasn’t allowed to date or attend parties. She began to see love as a pretty perverted thing. When she was 9 yrs old, her father took her to a female relative’s house and told her that he was going to have sex with the relative and how she(the relative) enjoys it and then tells her in graphic details the things they did. This was all in the bid to encourage her young mind that it was an okay thing to do. By the time she was 12 yrs old, her father progressed from molestation to rape. He didn’t force her physically but used manipulation, control, threats and lies to get what he wanted. He did that at least onc...

Part 1:She was sexually, mentally and emotionally abused by her father...Graphic details inside

She is one of the world’s leading Bible teachers, author and speaker. 72 years old, been married for 48 yrs, has 4 children serving the Lord and 10 grand children. Her name is Joyce Meyer. I culled this story from one of her messages where she shared intimate details of how she was sexually abused by her father. Very inspiring. Please read on. Her father was a mean, always angry, controlling and manipulating sexual pervert. He sexually, mentally, verbally and emotionally abused her till she finally left home at age 18. He made her do things so distasteful to be mentioned. Joyce had to keep lots of secrets. Her father wanted to make her believe that what he was doing to her was good and it was their secret because if she told anybody, nobody would understand . They wouldn’t believe her anyway and then she would cause a lot of problems in the family. Joyce Meyer grew up a lonely, abused and fearful child who never felt safe around her father. It’s either her mother was completely ...

For husbands and wives: A must read

A young lady shared this story on Facebook. I just couldn't resist sharing it with you here. A very important lesson for all. Very pathetic. Will he ever forgive himself?
